Museum Honorary Professor of KSTU N.A.Nazarbayev

The main idea of the Museum — to promote personal and political credo of the First President among students, foster a sense of patriotism and love of country on the example of First President of Kazakhstan, increase of civil consciousness of young people, promotion of ideas of tolerance in youth environment.

The exposition “Atameken”, presented on a background depicting a picturesque tracts of the Alatau Ushkonyr, provides visitors the opportunity to experience an early period of life of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Photographs and archival documents tell about homeland, family, childhood, school years of N. A. Nazarbayev.

“The beginning of a labour way” lights the beginning of employment, and political career of N. A. Nazarbayev. The exhibits acquaint visitors with the period of work at a metallurgical plant in Temirtau, study in Dneprodzerzhinsk school of mines.

“Studies in KarPTI” — the exposition, introduces the years of study of Nursultan Nazarbaev in our high school. These were the years of further solid education of Nursultan Nazarbayev.

N.A. Nazarbayev studied at the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute for 3 years, after which he was transferred to the newly organized in Temirtau at the Karaganda metallurgical combine “Zavod VTUZ”, which he graduated with the diploma of engineer-Metallurgist. Extraordinary personal charachter and fundamental higher education received Nazarbayev N. A. was the Foundation on which it was carried out the formation of personality, as a future President, the leader of the state, perfectly mastered great knowledge in many fields of human activity, political, economic and industrial.

The Museum is equipped with an electronic kiosk, which houses more than 100 photo and video documents, the exhibition also each equipped with picture frames that show photos that match the period of this exhibition.
